Content Redistribution Policy

The rules for redistribution of content created by Justin Spratt that are on this wiki ( jgspratt.pbworks.com ) (hereafter referred to as Content) are the following (rules with a higher number take prescience over rules with a lower number if and only if there is a conflict between the rules in the list below):

The rules

  1. The Content (jgspratt.pbworks.com) is generally free to redistribute.
  2. I do not require that credit (attribution) be given to me for Content.
  3. I do not require that I be contacted if Content is used.
  4. The Content may be used for commercial and non-commercial purposes.
  5. Content may be modified and redistributed.
  6. Content which applies a different licence to itself (such as the GFDL 1.3) is licenced under that licence.
  7. All sourcecode Content is licenced under the GPL Version 3 or any later version and is not freed beyond GPL Version 3 or any later version (notwithstanding the preceding rules).
  8. False explicit or implicit claims of authorship may be prosecuted.  For example, stating that "I wrote the following" before Content will be considered defamation (this is an explicit defamatory claim).  Handing in Content as completed school work will also be considered defamation (this is an implicit defamatory claim).

A further request

That being said, I prefer (but not require) that you use Content in the following ways

  1. I would appreciate that credit be given to my work (especially if you find it useful).  This is so that I can know whether my work is being useful or not and so others know where to get more like it, not so that I can get my name everywhere.
  2. I would appreciate it if you contact me if you use my work and find it useful (so that I know what to make more of).
  3. I would appreciate it if you contact me if you see errors in my work or have suggestions for improvements.
